Ulrich Meyer-Horsch 

The Artistic Director of the Hamburg School of Acting and co-founder of Michael Chekhov Europe e.V. He has been teaching the Chekhov Method for 30 years, including as an instructor for the Michael Chekhov Association (MICHA), New York. He trained as an actor in Hamburg and studied theater pedagogy, theology, and philosophy in Heidelberg, Kiel, and London (King's College). Since 1992, he has worked as an actor and director in German municipal theaters (Theater Kiel, Theater Lübeck, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Theater am Kurfürstendamm Berlin, Hamburger Kammerspiele, Altonaer Theater, among others). From 2013 to 2015, he was Deputy Artistic Director of the Kreuzgangspiele Feuchtwangen. Since 2012, he has been a guest lecturer at Yeditepe University in Istanbul and the Taipei National University for the Arts in Taiwan. He has also held teaching positions and directed productions in Zurich, Moscow, Yerevan, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Montevideo, Tokyo, and Singapore.
